The child must die

In his eyes, you’ll see love

Passionate love, ready to give up all

Lay down his life for hers, for the lioness’

She’s beautiful, want a family with her

But in the same eyes, you’ll see hatred

The cold dark soul, that tainted side of his big heart

It gotta go, he got to get rid of that child

Like a lion taking over another’s territory, doesn’t matter the child’s innocence

Judgement is for the gods, the child isn’t his blood

He was raised that way, the customs of the community he was born and raised in

Collected some along the way like souvenirs, to remind him of the cost of his journey

Everyone is watching, is he a true son of the soil?
