I always smile to myself whenever I wake to some nice comment on my blog, and so you can imagine the broadness of that smile when today I woke up to an award nomination from a fellow blogger and one I’ve known for quite sometime now. Thank you A Sagittarian Seeker (righteousbruin9) for the nomination. I’m humbled and only promise to answer your questions the best way I can.

Questions.

  1. What gets you up in the morning?                                                                                           The belief that the world still need my contribution (my little effort) to be better.
  2. Where do you work, or go to school? Is it far from your home?                                            Just done my final exams and now just concentrating on my writing as I think about my future. My Campus was within Nairobi City and not that far from where I stay.
  3. What makes you continue, even in the face of trial?                                                              My family. If you’re an ardent reader of my posts, then you can as well say you know my family, especially my mother and my sister. I talk about them a lot — both directly and indirectly — and they keep me going. I want to make them proud one day.
  4. What brings you the most joy?                                                                                                 Writing does. Kids too, though I have none of my own (the reason I’m more inclined towards writing children related poems in the recent weeks)
  5. What is your honest opinion of social media?                                                                          It’s a time bomb (all its benefits aside).
  6. Do you have a role model? If so, what about that person draws you in?                                   I don’t believe in role models. I believe in forging my own destiny.
  7. What have you learned from a setback?                                                                           Resilience.
  8. What do you think your community needs most? Your country?                                               Good leadership.
  9. Would you like to travel? To where?                                                                                  Absolutely yes! Just finished reading The Journeyer, and it has given me an adventure thirst never known before. From childhood. I always wanted to travel the world and I believe in me, still lives that child.
  10. Which is more urgent, fixing potholes in your city’s roads, or travel to Mars?                 Travel to Mars! I’m a dreamer and that’s the reason I spend so much of my time watching NASA videos. Roads will always have potholes…😏
  11. Which human quality do you find most appealing? Why?                                                    Smile. It can disarm even the hardest of hearts. When it comes to ladies, I notice the smile first     My nominees
  1. From which country do you come from?
  2. What do you love most about your country?
  3. Which language do you speak in your country?
  4. What is your blog in three words?
  5. Are a religious person? If yes, what’s your religion?
  6. Are you married? If no, would you marry someone from a different faith from your own?
  7. Do you agree that religious leaders should have equal say in world affairs just like political leaders?
  8. Ever been to Africa? If yes, what do you love about Africa? If no, would you love to visit the continent one day?
  9. Water or air transport?
  10. Ever eaten game meat? If yes, was from which wild animal?
  11. Are you involved in any form of nature conservation? If yes, mind telling us a little bit about it?
