Their slender manarat towers, garrulity, diaphaneous
The voice of the adhan summoning the Muslim faithful to prayer in Nambale, our small town could be heard for miles, coming from their slender manarat towers. As a kid I used to love it, and it used to be my alarm, waking me up for school.
Today we are mourning with the Muslim community around the world in the aftermath of the Christchurch, New Zealand heinous acts perpetrated by terrorists whose only agenda is to cause mayhem and conflict among world citizens. World leaders should come together and ensure this never happens again, instead of siting in the comfort of their offices with garrulity speaking trivial matters.
The line between the yesterday attacks and disruption of world peace is diaphaneously thin, and we should all be careful.
