Don’t salivate by the attractiveness of this dish, looks can be deceiving sometimes, as I later found out. But if you grew up in a home where you had limited privileges on what to and not to call food, then you can eat anything, even maggots and even those slimy snails like some people –my people eat termites (white) — as long as your tummy feels full.
I made the dish myself, from a mould covered, week-old chapati remnants I ate the other Sunday. I only prepared two eggs, and placed the chapati on top, added tomato sauce and I was ready to go.
I’m still searching for a suitable name for my simple recipe (please don’t laugh).
